Frequently Asked Questions

Listed below are some of the questions we are commonly asked. Please read carefully to more fully understand the rebate process and your rights regarding your rebate.

What is a Rebate?

Some people don't fully understand what a rebate is. The definition of a rebate is

"A rebate is an amount paid by way of reduction, return, or refund on what has already been paid or contributed. It is a type of sales promotion that marketers use primarily as incentives or supplements to product sales. The mail-in rebate (MIR) is the most common."

It's important to note that with a rebate you first pay the full price for the product or service. Then if you follow all the instructions for the rebate, as given by the company you purchased the products or services from, then that company gives you the rebate in the form of a credit to the credit card that was used to purchase your products or services.

Rebates are not guaranteed and are given at the sole discretion of the company you purchased your products or services from provided you follow their instructions exactly.

What is Rebate Processing Center? is a Third Party group that is contracted by multiple companies to provide and process rebates for their clients.

In short, other companies hire us to provide a professional way to handle their rebates.

We provide the website for clients to print their rebate form from and process the rebate forms once they are returned. Sometimes a rebate form is sent directly to the company, sometimes the rebate form is sent directly to us depending on how that specific company wants their rebates processed.

The main thing to note is that, or it's owners/operators, are NOT the ones you purchased your products from and are NOT the ones that will provide your rebate to you. The company you purchased your products or services from are the ones that are ultimately responsible to pay out the rebate according to their policies and proceedures. is NOT liable in anyway to provide you with a rebate. Our contract is with the companies that hired us and not with you, the individual client.

What are the common reasons a your rebate is not processed?

1. The proper Proof of Purchase, usually the Original Packing Slip, was not included when the Rebate Form was sent back. It's important to send exactly what the company specifies as a Proof of Purchase and nothing else. Photocopies of the Proof of Purchase are not allowed, all documents must be original.

2. The Rebate Form was Not Signed or Not Completely and Properly Filled Out. For a rebate to be valid the original form must be completely and correctly filled out. In addition it must be the original doucument, not photocopies are allowed.

3. The rebate form was received past the due date. All rebates have a time limit on how long you have to get the form back to the rebate processing center. This time limit will be printed on the rebate form. Most of the time it is 45 days from the time you ordered your products or services.

Other things to take in to consideration: Do not Staple, Tape, or attach the rebate form and proof of purcahse together in any way. Send only the Rebate Form and Proof of Purchase, do not send anything else. Allow at least 1/4" at the top of the envelope to allow for the automated envelope openers to open the envelope without destroying the form.

Remember the easier you make it on us to process your rebate the faster we can process your rebate.

How long will it take to get my rebate?

That depends on several factors. First of all it depends on how long it takes for you to mail the rebate form to us. The sooner you get it back, the better. And it must be within the allowed time limit. Next it depends on the postal service and how long it takes for them to deliver it to us.

After that it can take up to 120 days for the rebate to be processed, however most of the time it is sooner than that.

How will I receive my rebate?

Most of the companies we work with simply give you a credit, or in other words a refund, to the credit card that you used to process your order for the rebate amount. In most cases that is the only way they will process your rebate and will not allow any other method.

How do I contact the Rebate Processing Center?

We do not deal directly with individual clients regarding rebates. If you have a question or concern about your rebate you must talk directly to the customer service department of the company you purchased your products or services from. We only deal with the companies that have hired us to process their rebates, we can not or will not talk with individual clients.
